Why AUM
You learn directly from the people who opened AUM in 2014. Over a decade of running daily sessions, holding retreats and training facilitators across Asia and Europe.
You practice inside a working sound healing center, not a rented classroom. Real guests, real sessions, real feedback. Skill builds by doing, every single day of the training.
Gongs, Tibetan singing bowls, crystal bowls, frame drums, koshi chimes, monochord — all under one roof. You work with instruments most facilitators only see in photos.
Twelve students maximum. Real attention from the lead teacher, real time at every instrument and real space for questions that matter to your practice.
Programs

Program A · Foundation
17 000 THB · 12 hours intensive · max 12 students
Our flagship Sound Healing Teacher Training. Twelve focused hours that turn a serious practitioner into a session-ready facilitator. You leave with a real repertoire and the confidence to hold your first group.

“Become a healer. Acquire skill and knowledge of utilising healing vibrations of gongs and singing bowls for physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing.”
Curriculum

Gong is one of the eldest instruments and has been through ages revered due to its ability to broaden the mind. You learn sizing, mallet selection, striking patterns and how to build and release a full gong wave.

Singing bowls sounds which are low in frequency are really helpful for inducing deep relaxation response in the body and effect the mood positively. You learn pairing, placement and water-bowl variants.

Pure quartz bowls produce sustained tones that resonate with the body’s subtle field. Their clean overtones quiet inner chatter and open space for stillness. You learn note pairing and overtone control.

AUM chanting tradition as the spine of every session. You learn to anchor a group with voice alone — mantra, drone, simple toning — and how to weave chant in and out of instrument work.

Frame drum, ocean drum, shaker, rattle. Rhythm anchoring, shamanic patterns and the somatic role of pulse. How to use percussion to land a group back in the body at the close of a journey.

How to apply
Step 1
DM @AUM_CENTER on Telegram or send a message through this site. Tell us briefly where you are in your practice today.
Next cohort dates posted on our Telegram channel. Cohorts run quarterly.
No prior sound healing experience is required for the 12-hour TTC. A regular meditation, yoga or bodywork practice helps you absorb material faster, but it is not a hard prerequisite. The Weekend Immersion does assume an existing contemplative practice.
You receive a certificate of completion from AUM Sound Healing Center. Sound healing is not a state-regulated profession in Thailand, so no government license exists anywhere in the world. What matters is the actual skill you walk out with, and that is what we test.
Yes — within a defined scope. After the TTC most students can hold a simple 60-minute group session with bowls and one gong. Larger gong baths and one-on-one therapeutic work usually require either the Weekend Immersion or the Private Mentorship.
TTC is a 12-hour foundation that builds your first repertoire. The Weekend Immersion goes deeper — longer practice blocks, more advanced sequencing, work with the full instrument collection, and integration sessions with the cohort.
Training tuition is separate from accommodation. We can recommend partner guesthouses and bungalows within a 5-minute walk of AUM at every price point. Most students stay nearby and eat at the local cafes.
Because cohorts are small and the material builds session on session, attendance is required. If you miss a single block we can usually arrange a make-up with the lead teacher. Missing more than one block normally means rolling into the next cohort.
Yes, and we encourage it for the Mentorship track. For the TTC and Immersion all instruments are provided. If you already own a gong or bowls, bring them and we will tune your technique to your own kit.
