FAQ
Everything we get asked before your first visit.
No. Most of our guests are first-timers. Sessions are guided from start to finish and you simply lie down and let the sound do the work. If you can breathe, you can join.
Swimwear, two towels (one for sauna, one to dry off), a refillable water bottle and a warm layer for after sound sessions. We provide cushions, blankets, eye masks and everything else.
Yes, and many do. Group ceremonies fill quickly with solo travellers from all over the world. The community here is unusually warm — you will not feel alone for long.
Children over 8 are welcome at restaurant, shop and morning yoga with a parent. Sound ceremonies and sauna evenings are designed for adults — please ask us before bringing kids to either.
They are separate offerings with separate pricing. Many guests combine them in one evening — sauna from 17:00, sound ceremony at 20:00. Ask us about a combined drop-in if that suits you.
Scooter or songthaew from Thong Sala — about 15 minutes. We are on Google Maps as AUM Sound Healing Center. Drop us a pin on Telegram if you get lost and we will guide you in.
Both work. Online booking is in v1 rollout — for now the fastest way is Telegram. We confirm within a few hours, usually faster during opening hours.
Cash in Thai Baht or QR PromptPay at the venue. Card payments and online checkout are arriving with v1. For multi-day passes or training courses we accept bank transfer.
For private ceremonies and group bookings of 6+ we ask for a 50% deposit to hold the slot. Drop-in sessions and daily yoga do not require any deposit.
Cancel 24 hours before a session and we refund or move you fully. Inside 24 hours we hold the deposit but apply it to your next visit. Same-day cancellations for medical reasons are always honoured.
Yes. Groups of 4+ get easier coordination over Telegram and a small discount on combined sauna + sound evenings. Groups of 10+ can book the dome privately — write to us about dates.
Morning yoga and the restaurant are fine. Sauna and gong sessions are not recommended during pregnancy because of heat and deep vibration. Please consult your doctor and let us know on arrival.
Modern pacemakers are usually compatible with sound healing at our volumes, but we ask you to clear it with your cardiologist first. Mention it at check-in so we can seat you further from the gongs.
High blood pressure, recent cardiac events or unstable conditions are not compatible with our sauna intensity. Please consult your doctor. If cleared, take it slow — one short round at a time.
All shared cushions and blankets are aired and rotated daily. Sound instruments are wiped between sessions. The sauna is heated to full temperature daily, which sanitises the space naturally.
A guided lying-down meditation where layered instruments — gongs, bowls, voice — wash over you. The vibration slows the nervous system, the mind quiets, and the body often releases what it has been holding.
Loud enough to feel in your chest, never painful. The volume builds and drops in waves through the session. If you prefer a quieter spot, ask before you lie down and we will place you accordingly.
Often, yes. The body drops into deep rest very quickly. That is welcome — even if you sleep through it, the nervous system absorbs the work.
Completely normal. Laughter is normal too. Sound moves things that words cannot reach. Nobody around you will judge. The room is held for exactly that kind of release.
